Zonta Club
of
Washington County, Pennsylvania
About Us
Zonta Club of Washington County, Pennsylvania was chartered in 1985 and in the
past 25 years, this group of dedicated professional women has had a deep and
meaningful impact on our community. We have contributed financially to local
organizations and have shared our talent through personal and professional
networks. And we continue to support women internationally through participation
with Zonta International.

We have provided service to the Washington's Women Shelter, the Interfaith
Hospitality Network, to the Washington Christian Outreach, we partnered with
Habitat for Humanity of Washington County to help recent victims of the Tsunami
disaster in Sri Lanka, And we recently embarked on a project to fill 1000 birthing
kits for distribution in undeveloped countries where women often die in childbirth
due to unsanitary conditions.

We have a rich tradition of publicly honoring the achievements of women at our
annual Amelia Earhart Recognition Dinner program for high school juniors and at
our annual Rose Day program for adult women throughout the county.

Our most recent event is a
Road Rally / Scavenger Hunt which turned out to be so
much fun the first year we have decided to make it an annual event too.

We thank all of the wonderful sponsors and members of the community that have
supported our efforts in the past and look for continued success and service for
others in need.
